We cooperate with two schools: from Czech Republic and from Hungary.

Our Czech partner…

The Czech school is situated in the south east part of Moravia, close to Austria and Slovakia. It is the biggest primary school in Breclav region, has more than 600 pupils from 1st to 9th class. The school supports an incorporating of pupils with specific and special needs, pupils at risk of social exclusion and quite large group of our student is created by Gypsies.
It is taking part in project like this for the first time, so pupils and teachers are very excited.:)
And something about the region:
Breclav is situated close to Austrian and Slovakian frontiers. The region is famous for fantastic wine…:) and wine yards which are all around…and fruit trees...Typical fruit you can find here are peaches, apricots and apple..The town ,villages and countryside around are also tourist centers, well known in the whole Europe. Wonderful architecture, lots of castles, well known parks with exotic plants, sculptures…:)

Now, about the school in Hungary…

 Szkola Wegry
The school is located in Abony, which is 85 km from the capital of Hungary. There are 16.000 people living in our town. There are 2 primary schools here and Somogyi Imre Primary School is the name of our partner school. There are almost 800 pupils learning in this school.
Pupils can learn English or German. There are extra P.E. lessons and students go to competitions and they often win. They are very good at handball and athletics.
The area where our partners live is called the Great Hungarian Plain, Alföld in Hungarian. It was designated as a national park in 1973 (the first national park in Hungary), and elected among the World Heritage sites (UNESCO) in 1999. The Hortobágy is Hungary's largest protected area, and the biggest grassland that remained in Central Europe. Its area is over 800 km².
The most important river of the plain is Tisza. It’s only 15 kms far from Abony. Unfortunately there are absolutely no hills, mountains here. 
People live from agriculture and animal husbandry
